Description Concise information on the European Strategy for Child and Adolescent Health is presented. The main objectives are pointed out and guiding principles and priorities are explained. The World Health Organisation has outlined seven priority areas for action in European context: Maternal and newborn health, nutrition, communicable disease, injuries and violence, physical environment, adolescent health, and psychosocial development and mental health.
