Description The paper acquaints P. with the results of the textbooks analysis which was based on frequency concept analysis of Czech lower secondary school human geography textbooks. Author compared all fourteen textbooks from eight different publishing houses allowed for lessons at Czech secondary schools in school year 2005/2006. The result is the finding that the number of concepts in textbooks from several publishing houses is highly different. The research emerged that in all examined textbooks authors used 366 different human geographical concepts, but only 35 concepts, that means 10% of them, were mentioned in all examined textbooks.
