| Description | The contribution deals with the specific group among catholic clergy: clergy – builders. In turn of 19th and 20th century, in the period of new churches construction, many of young priests had similar experience with building. Different issues of the builders are shown on a representative example of Frantisek Venhuda. He realized two buildings during his live: the first in Sarajevske Pole in Bosnia and the second in Brno – Husovice. Venhuda solved three main tasks during construction in Husovice: fund-raising, supervising and regulation the building and the religious background – influence on the church dedication. Venhuda, as an agent of the building association, made a lot of correspondence. Analyze of the correspondence enriches image of Venhuda s personality and circumstances of the building |
