Description | Although nematods and harpacticoids show morphological and ecological differences, they are both well adapted to the life within riverbed sediment interstices. Their vertical distribution was studied in the hyporheic zone of the Loučka River up to the depth of 70 cm and related to hydrogeological conditions and measured environmental factors, such as water temperature and organic carbon content. |
