Description | DNA was isolated from Bifidobacterium cells using phenol extraction metod, salting out using 6 M NaCl, and adsorption on magnetic poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-glycidyl methacrylate) (HEMA-co-GMA) particles containing carboxyl groups. It was shown that DNA eluted from magnetic particles into TE buffer can be succesfully used in molecular fingerprinting procedures. The reproducibility of tested methods were comparable with phenol extraction method. |
