Description The analysis of cardiovascular oscillations has substantially improved risk stratification and treatment of several diseases with autonomic or cardiac dysfunctions. Important areas of application: cardiovascular diseases, autonomic dysfunction, foetal and newborn monitoring, sleep disorders, diabetology, psychiatric diseases, physical load, preventive medicine. Univariate and multivariate analysis including spectral analysis, fractal properties, complexity and predictability methods are recommended.
