| Description | 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring provides more data about the monitored person than casual measurement in physicians office. These data better correlate with target organ damage in hypertension and with global cardiovascular risk of examined patients. Are available computer based data - the average day, night and 24-hour values of systolic, diastolic, mean and pulse pressure. 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring detects the morning increase and diurnal oscillation of blood pressure values (dippers, nondippers) and helps to diagnose patients with white-coat syndrome and masked hypertension. |
