| Description | This paper is focused on the structural changes induced by selected aspects of Czech economy transition. The goal of this paper is to describe the changes in structure of production, size of enterprises and employment in the Czech economy from the beginning of the transition until now, and mark out the impact of the privatization on the economic growth, labour productivity and economic performance. In the second part of this work the main framework of Support of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises will be sketched. We will be dealing with the efficiency of this support and with the potential and limits of this kind of structural policy to contribute to competitiveness of enterprises and therefore to the economic growth. |
