Description | The article deals with the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia that is one of the few former "state-parties" in the former Central and Eastern European satellites of Union od Soviet Socialistic Republics that has not gone through any consistent transformation into a socialist or social-democratic party after 1989. It discusses the Communist Party's attitude towards own history based on the analysis of official documents and formulations of the head party officials to the party members. The paper demonstrates at several levels that despite the declarations of party's top officials about their new attitude towards communist history, no such change actually happened. |
