Description It is common knowledge that silvers ions belongs to one of the most toxic elements causing acute toxicity of organisms e.g. fifty percent living organisms die after exposition of 10 ěg/l Ag+ per 96 hours. Here we applied two different electrochemical techniques (differential pulse voltammetry and flow injection analysis with electrochemical detection) for determination of silver ions. As we shown, not only the stationary electrochemical technique but also the flow injection analysis in connection with electrochemical detector are suitable for toxicological analysis of environmental samples.
