| Description | The article focuses at making and development of political thoughts among the country dwellers since the constitution of 1861 until the Taaffe cabinets fall in 1893. These are viewed through analysis of the Landstag and Reichsrat elections of the country curia. Main attention is given to the struggles between liberalism and political Catholicism, dominating the political scene at the time, and also to the relationships between the town (Znojmo) and the country. |
