| Description | The international academic conference attended by the experts from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia and the United States examined not only the circumstances of a successful national compromise between the Czechs and the Germans achieved in 1905 in Moravia, but also the possibilities and barriers of similar national appeasement among the members of other nationalities in other parts of the Habsburg Monarchy and problems of solving national questions in 19th and 20th centuries in Central Europe. |
