Description The paper pursues how Napoleonic wars and the following development in France affect political thoughts of the Czech federalists František Ladislav Rieger and count Egbert Belcredi in the 1860s. The evident differences in the evaluation of the French way were overlapped by common struggle against dualism and for the Czech historical political law.
