Description	This paper deals with the issue of division of the Czech Republic into tourist regions and areas. It examines the purpose of regional division and its theoretic-methodological outcome. Moreover, it outlines the content structure of the project entitled Proposal of New Regional Division of Tourism in the Czech Republic.
