Description	The paper deals with a concept of school physical education (PE) against health education. It is based on an orientational international comparison of PE and evaluates the present state of PE in the Czech Republic and advertises the new conception of PE in newly prepared general educational programmes. The aim of the article is to point out an evident contrast among existing PE teachers training, realization of PE at schools and conception of PE in present and prepared educational documents in Czech Republic.
