| Description | In recent years, the problem of corruption has attracted a great deal of attention not only sociologists and polimetricians but also economists. In the centre of economists interest is seeking the causes of corruption and considering the costs, which are related to corruption. The impacts of corruption to economic growth and competitiveness are searched. This paper focuses on corruption and its effect on economic growth. The author searches the source of corruption. She gives attention to consideration the rate of corruption in the Czech Republic and in the European Union countries. |
