Keywords mass spectrometer calibration membrane input capacitance gauge leak valve
Description One of the main problem of mass spectrometer measurement is the relation between the signal intensity and quantity of analyt. It is the principle question in case of membrane introduction of mass spectrometer use, where the preliminary separation of input vapor stream is not possible. Determination of relation between concentration and MS signal is possible to measure by means of capacitance gauge equipped calibration interface leak valve, in case of volatile species. It is described the leak valve set-up completed at our department and results of calibration with model volatile compounds.
