Description The aim of the study was the comparison of body and circulatory parameters in healthy subjects, and children and adolescents who were previously treated for malignant tumour. The evaluation of relationship between plasma lipids and changes in cuirculatory regulation in subjects after treatment for malignant tumour was our second task. The group of 97 subjects after treatment for a malignant tumour(group T) in comparison with 206 healthy children and adolescents (group C) had increased parasympathetic and decreased sympathetic tonic activity with decreased baroreflex sensitivity. The circulatory changes did not bear clearly on obesity, but they were rather specific effect of tumour disease and antitumours treatment.
