Description | Hypertensives children and children with white coat hypertension were compared with age-mathed healthy controls in relationship 1 to 2. Significant decrease of baroreflex sesnitivity was found in both groups, but increased blood pressure variability was only in hypertensives. These are early signs of decreased parasympathetic and increased sympathetic activity. |
