Description In a group of 230 children aged 11-15 years, the development of baroreflex sensitivity (BRS in ms/mmHg; BRSf in Hz/mmHg) in relationship to the circulatory parameters was studied. BRS is age-independent, but it correlates significantly with pulse intervals (PI). BRSf is pulse interval independent, but it significantly decreases with age, with the body weight and height.
