Description | The paper presents results of a qualitative phase of a mixed research in learning styles of English which took place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication of the BUT. It brought some interesting insights in how technical students acquire English. Despite their technical orientation, which requires focus on logic, analysis and theory, students prefer to learn English subconsciously and osmotically, without paying much attention to rules and grammar. |
