Description As part of the comprehensive legislative regulation of military service and the conditions of employment, the assessment of medical fitness for active military service is part of the Ministry of Health Decree No. 256/1999 Coll. It serves as one of the indicators for determining the disease of nutrition, namely obesity and other hyperalimentation. Obesity associated with a decrease in joint performance and physical fitness lead to the medical classification of unfit and temporarily unfit (C, D). Significant excess weight associated with a substantial reduction in physical and cardiac performance is the reason for the classification of permanently unfit (mark (Dv)) to perform active military service.
