Description The chapter discusses the difficulties of a student with reduced cognitive efficiency in acquiring the skill of multiplication. From a theoretical point of view, the complexity of the multiplication operation and the issue of its acquisition are discussed. The case study presents the problems of a student with impaired memory function and dysgraphic difficulties in mastering the individual steps of the multiplication skill.
