| Description | This study investigates the question of why the hacksilver hoards appeared in the northern West Slavic region but never belonged to the habitus of the Slavic elites in the southern part of Central Europe. Furthermore, the concealment of the hoards and their presumed non-commercial background are discussed. The hoards of hacksilver and iron objects are compared here. |
