Description | The emergence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) requires the development of new therapeutic strategies. The research focuses on the antimicrobial activity of twelve phenolic compounds isolated from the root bark of Morus alba against MRSA and MSSA. Eight compounds were assessed for the synergistic potential with ciprofloxacin, oxacillin, and kanamycin. The combination of antibiotics with natural compounds offers a promising approach. |
