| Description | The Czech translation of this book was written at the beginning of 2022 when the COVID-19 pandemic was already in its second year. This period is very important in terms of the development of mathematical modeling of epidemics. Since many of the Czech scientists helping with the translation of this book were involved in this rapid development, they decided to share their experiences from this period with the author Nicolas Bacaër in this chapter. |
