Description | The present paper discusses transmasculinities as narrated by AFAB authors in contemporary Anglophone nonbinary life writing narratives. While queer and transfemininities are rendered hypervisible, the transmasculinities narrated by nonbinary authors with masculine gender expression create different, in the queer life-writing canon commonly underrepresented, challenges: rejection and erasure within the queer community, identity unintelligibility outside the community, and nonbinary parenting-related issues. |
