Description | This paper focuses on the correction of learner answers, which represents a specific area of practices employed by pre-service teachers of English in their school placement. This conversation analytic paper builds on video-recordings of lessons taught by pre-service teachers at the beginning and at the end of their school placement. The detailed analysis showed that whereas at the beginning the pre-service teachers tended to rely on the task format in the teaching material, towards the end an inclination towards students’ learning, answers and specifics was observed. |
