Description The aim of the paper is based on the analysis of 14 semi-structured interviews to present the first results, which more deeply reveal the subjective perception and sup- port of the work ability of upper-secondary school teachers. Initial analyses, for example, show that, from the point of view of upper-secondary school teachers, work ability is perceived primarily as their responsibility, to which other cir- cumstances, such as the unhealthy lifestyle of secondary school teachers, higher level of stress, or absent feedback from management.
