Description | The fi fth volume of the series summarizing remarkable phytosociological relevés brings new data on the distribution, ecology and species composition of six vegetation types from the Czech Republic. A rocky steppe dominated by submediterranean grass Stipa eriocaulis (Bromo-Festucion pallentis) recorded in southern Moravia is discussed in terms of its syntaxonomic position. Two thermophilous ruderal communities(Eragrostio minoris-Polygonetum arenastri, Eragrostio poaeoidis-Panicetum) are reported as new associations for eastern Bohemia. Tall herbaceous stands dominated by nitrophilous archaeophyte Parietaria offi cinalis (Urtico dioicae-Parietarietum offi cinalis) were documented at six sites in southern and eastern Moravia where only a few relevés have been available so far. Littoral vegetation with the prevailing subhalophilous Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani (Schoenoplectetum tabernaemontani) was documented in southern Moravia where almost no recent records have been available. An isolated stand of calcicolous rock-outcrop lime forest (Seslerio caeruleae-Tilietum cordatae) was recorded in Czech Silesia for the fi rst time. |
