Description | The Baťa education system has become the subject of Czech and foreign studies. However, this research has not provided focused insight into foreign language teaching, which plays a vital role in its interests due to its global ex- pansion. Future graduates of supported schools would have communication abilities like native speakers, which could be valuable for activities abroad. The multinational company realized that it was not sufficient to support adult and therefore, its concerns were mainly projected in the 1930s in the establishment of the Private Foreign Language Citizen School, where most subjects were taught by native speakers in English, German and French. |
