Description | This contribution presents our last outcomes on an atomizer-assisted atmospheric-pressure plasma process for the production of coatings obtained by the co-deposition of an organic precursor and water or water solution containing a bioactive molecule - vancomycin. The purpose of this process is to deposit a coating for the controlled release of the bio-active molecule. It has been demonstrated that changing the deposition parameters can lead to tune the release at a certain extent. |
