| Description | The presentation focuses on the areas of educational data mining and learning analytics, which will be introduced and described. Despite the fact that these areas are still relatively new in the Czech Republic, they have been developing quite rapidly in the international environment during recent years. The presentation will outline the broad range of research topics that are being addressed in these areas and that have been given particular attention recently. At the same time, specific examples of the use of learning analytics and educational data mining in various educational contexts, tools, and systems will be presented. |
