Description The aim of this article was to define dietary habits of judokas by using questionnaire survey. The questionnaire survey was attended by 66 judokas in total, out of which there were 34 male (52 %) and 32 female (48 %) respondents, both of them men and women aged 20-25 years. Concerning examined judokas eating habits, it was found that women (78.8%) consider balanced diet more than men. There exists a number of judokas who are not aware of proper nutrition principles recommended to sportspeople practising power sports and there are others, who are familiar with the principles, nevertheless they do not adjust to them. The situation can be reasonably solved by proper education of judo practitioners either via their couches or nutritional advisors.
