Description In the Czech Republic, approximately 65-70 children are affected by acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), which is the most common form of pediatric acute leukemia. Now up to 90% of affected children are cured, who live in adolescence and adulthood. However, the quality of life of surviving individuals may reduce the late effects of treatment, and therefore permanent monitoring of these individuals is necessary. At present, we are monitoring at our workplace 94 individuals after ALL treatment in childhood who are at least 10 years after the end of any anti-cancer therapy (40 male 16-43 years old and 54 females aged 15-44 years.) We monitored the weight , BMI, TK, lipid levels in the blood, glycemia, thyroid function and cardiac function.
