Description | The genre-process approach to teaching writing is gaining popularity and seems to prove beneficial in many educational contexts. The feedback plays an important role in both approaches – as scaffolding in the genre approach or as a key element of students´ growing control over writing in the process approach to teaching this skill. The paper aims to present the results of a survey on students´ perception of the feedback which was provided in an electronic asynchronous mode in the form of both teacher´s and peer feedback. The survey was conducted as a part of the pilot research study on the effects of feedback on developing sociolinguistic competence of ESP / EAP students at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University, Brno. |
