Description | The work is focused on study of surface effects on CuNi, AgNi and AuNi nanoparticles, prepared by solvothermal synthesis in nature of oleylamine, and their catalytic properties. Complex surface processes were discovered, including desorption and evaporation of the organic protective layer, its gradual oxidation through various oxidation states to carbon dioxide as the final oxidation product and organometallic compound(s) formation resulting to metal deposition. |
