Description | Bambusurils are macrocycles capable of anion recognition. Methine protons on glycoluril units are pointing to the center of cavity forming weak bonds with anions. Binding properties of dodecabenzylbambus[6]uril (Bn12BU[6]) with inorganic anions in chloroform were well studied by means of 1H NMR and ITC measurements. Here we present the synthesis of anionic organic rods and their complexes with bambusuril. |
