Description | Burial rite of the Cored Ware culture in Moravia reflects social structures (vertical, horizontal) in a idealized form. Idealized social identities (masculine, feminine, children's, ...) are associated with different artefacts signifying different activities and interaction networks. Several subsystems of material culture (pottery, chipped stone artefacts, polished stone artefacts) were identified and analyzed. Artefacts, raw materials and technological knowledge circulated within specific interaction networks on local, regional and supra-regional level, and were exchanged with specific redistribution zones. |
