Description | In 2015 and 2016, the author conducted an audit of the Czech national elite sports policy using the international research methodology called SPLISS (Sports Policy Factors Leading to International Sporting Success). Based on the audit results in Pillar 2 entitled Management, Organization and Structure of Elite Sports, this paper analyses the situation regarding this area in the context of the Czech Republic. The analysis is complemented by an on-line questionnaire survey among 93 elite athletes and 20 elite trainers. The conclusions of the analysis are then used to formulate proposals to support a coordinated approach to elite sport management in the Czech Republic |
