| Description | Sports terminology is an e-book focused on the extension of the knowledge of foreign languages in the field of sport. The book includes exercises commonly used in the instruction process when teaching foreign languages, which develop the four basic skills, reading, listening writing, and speaking. It introduces 11 sports: tennis, football, skiing and snowboarding, volleyball, basketball, handball, floorball, athletics, swimming, judo, cross-country skiing and biathlon. Each chapter starts with general, known terminology, and the vocabulary is gradually enriched and practiced. The 12th chapter deals with the terms which are commonly used in sport; it introduces the basic vocabulary of the locomotive system and PE nomenclature. |
