| Description | The research intention SCHOOL AND HEALTH FOR 21st CENTURY dealt with the issue of healthy lifestyles and healthy behavior that school can and should influence. The results give to schools information which would enable more effective health education and health literacy, particularly the young generation. The main aims of the project are a comprehensive view of the incorporation of health issues in his physical, mental and social part to the primary education, solution to the methodological and methodical issues in the concept of health education, and verification of evaluation tools for determining the efficiency of formation of health awareness and responsibility (skills, knowledge, attitudes, perception and evaluation patterns, behavior etc.) pupil and the school as an institution. The school environment is a major determinant of health, where lifelong social and health habits are formed. |
