Description | Wine is significant commercial commodity of which quality reflects the plant geographic origin, grape variety and processing, for instance. Thus unsurprisingly the quality and provenance inspection play important role for verification of authenticity. The history of wine analysis with respect to the geographic origin establishing dates back to eighties of last century and it is based on determination of elemental content. Nowadays, the development of various analytical techniques leads to extension of element to be analysed in terms of LOD and accuracy improvement. Moreover, currently used equipment is quite robust and enables to analyze wine without mineralization. Taking into account analysis of elements at the race and ultratrace level, low degree of sample dilution is required. The contribution is focused on elemental analysis of Moravian organic wine by optical emission spectroscopy. The influence of the sample dilution during direct nebulisation of the wine and quantification approach are discussed. The results were also subjected to advanced statistical analysis in order to find the link between elements and between selected ratios as well as Moravian organic wine were compared to wine from Spain, Italy and Hungary. |
