| Description | Proper provision of first aid in acute danger to life and health is crucial for all population groups. Higher probability of accidents associated with the study of students at technical and vocational schools. Therefore, it is essential that teachers and pupils know well the principles of safety and the basics of first aid. It was carried out a pilot questionnaire survey mapping standard of first aid and accident prevention at two schools in the region Brno-city. It was approached a sample of 80 students from two high schools. It was used an anonymous questionnaire of 25 items, supplemented by interviews about 8 items with the teachers responsible for first aid and safety. It was found that first aid training is haphazard, lacks a number of essential information and practicing skills. Safety and health are monitored schools well secured. |
