Description | Bioimaging using laser ablation connected with inductively coupled plasma and mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) offers the ability of imaging of elements in the different types of biological tissues with very good spatial resolution from units to hundreds µm. This method is used in biomedical research such as cancer diseases. A wide range of application also provides information about distribution of essential elements in organs (liver, kidneys). |
