Description The educational publication presents the methodology of self-defence teaching based on the use of combative games. The curriculum includes twelve lessons of self-defence units divided into three blocks, respecting the stages of motor learning. While the first part is focused on preparatory combatives leading to the development of motor skills, the second part is intended to be mastering motor skills (defence against various attacks) and the third part is intended to apply motor skills in self-defence scenario training. The textbook contains text describing the theoretical background of the individual areas of self-defence, video demonstrations, rules of all exercises, and written preparation for all teaching units.
