| Description | Special Olympics is world-wide sports movement oriented on athletes with mental disability. Beside main focus on sports program complimentary program Health Athlete is attention of both SOI and Czech SO, too. The development of HA , characteristics and background of this program both in international and Czech environment is described. Survey of activities within HA, results of the screening of health related variables of SO athletes, opportunity to cooperate with universities are presented. The Fitness Innovation Project is explained with more details as well as future intentions. |
