Description | The publication, whose authors are the lecturers with long experience in the field of physical education and sport, is geared to professionals, coaches, lecturers in fitness centers, rehabilitation workers, PE teachers and to the sporting public. The theoretical part of the publication provides a summary of current knowledge about the significance and importance of the connective tissue in locomotion, exercise, sports and rehabilitation, and presents the possibility of its training. It brings the theme, which is introduced marginally is the Czech literature so far. The book also introduces the current knowledge of breathing and the core stabilization system. The practical part consists of a broad and compact battery of exercises with and on foam rollers, including self-massage of connective tissue. The exercise battery can be used in fitness centers, different forms of training and PE classes, but also by people with health weaknesses, as well as in physiotherapy and rehabilitation. |
