| Description | The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of important results in the oscillation and spectral theory of discrete symplectic systems with nonlinear dependence on the spectral parameter, which were recently introduced by the author. In addition, we derive new comparison theorems for finite eigenvalues of such systems. |
