Description The curse tablets found in the Roman Province Germania document a rapid spread of the Mediterranean curse tradition to the northern and marginal parts of the Roman Empire. The same can be said about the curse documents discovered in the adjacent Roman provinces Noricum, Raetia and Pannonia. The whole curse material from the Danube regions shows remarkable mutual correspondence.
